The sustainable solar power generation and distribution project was officially inaugurated in a high-profile ceremony in Mecha Kebele, Adiyo Woreda, located in the Kaffa Zone of the South West Ethiopia Peoples’ Regional State. The event was attended by senior dignitaries from the Federal Government, Regional State, Zonal, and Woreda leadership, alongside local community members who celebrated the arrival of sustainable electrical power. Powering Rural Transformation As the specialized contractor responsible for the design and construction of the distribution network, Nabek Electro-Mechanical Works PLC played a vital role in transforming the clean energy generated by the solar system into reliable electricity for the public. Nabek’s scope of work encompassed the complete installation of the Medium and Low Voltage (MV/LV) distribution network. This included the construction of local grid lines, the deployment of certified poles, and the implementation of high-efficiency conductors designed to safely route power from the solar generation site directly to households, businesses, and public facilities.
